Powering
the
future
of EV charging.

WILLBERT is a vertically integrated EV-charging platform developed by EUROLOOP — hardware and software built in-house to deliver ultra-fast chargers plus retail and payment ecosystem capability. My work spanned several areas: from the Android-side of a payment-terminal application tied to the charger hardware, to a warehouse management system ("Monotion"), AR marketing business-card system for WILLBERT's charger product line, and BuyBERT retail feature enabling in-charger product selection and purchase.

WILLBERT

Charging and paying should feel like a single gesture — effortless, instant, and universal.

What if...

What if users could complete secure transactions directly at the charger — without the need for third-party apps? Could this redefine convenience and set a new standard for seamless payment experiences?

PAX IM30

The Payment Terminal Integration project created a fully embedded and secure payment flow within Wilbert's EV charging system, allowing users to complete transactions directly on the PAX IM30 terminal. I developed the Android-side Flutter application (WTerm) that managed payment logic, hardware communication, and synchronization across the charger ecosystem.

Approach

Built on a distributed architecture with real-time communication between the charger interface, terminal app, and control logic. The system supported both contactless debit payments through Viva Wallet integration and RFID-based authorization via the IM30's built-in PICC reader, ensuring seamless user experience regardless of payment method.

Outcome

Delivered a stable, production-grade payment infrastructure with fault tolerance and fast recovery capabilities. This modular design laid the foundation for future features including BuyBERT retail transactions and dynamic tariff-based billing, all integrated directly within Wilbert's chargers.

Meet BuyBERT

BuyBERT is Wilbert's in-charger retail platform, transforming EV chargers into interactive storefronts. It enables users to browse, select, and purchase products directly from the charger's touchscreen while their vehicle charges — seamlessly integrated with the existing payment and back-office ecosystem.

Leading BuyBERT MVP delivery within a two-week deadline required coordinating a cross-functional team of five, managing three parallel development tracks (charger frontend, backend, POS frontend), and ensuring full order cycle integration.

Impact

Successfully balanced rapid iteration with quality, coordinating daily syncs, prioritizing tasks, conducting UX testing, and validating product data flows between UI and backend APIs while meeting strict launch milestones. The MVP delivered a fully functional in-charger retail platform that enabled users to browse, select, and purchase products directly from the charger's touchscreen.

From Chaos to Coordination

Before Monotion, the warehouse operated through spreadsheets, manual stock checks, and delayed updates. The new system introduced digital precision — linking every shelf, tablet, and assembly task through a unified, real-time interface. What once relied on memory and paper evolved into an intelligent workflow built on automation, context, and traceability.

Warehouse System (Monotion)

Next.js
Tailwind
Notion API
GitLab
CI/CD

The Monotion project empowered Wilbert's warehouse and assembly-line teams with a system capable of tracking parts, predicting costs, and organizing complex assembly workflows — all while ensuring real-time data accuracy and operational transparency.

Innovation

Built with Next.js and leveraging Notion as a lightweight database solution, the platform required a custom queuing system called Notion-Link to overcome API rate limits and structural constraints. This system serialized and prioritized all database actions, preventing timeouts and ensuring consistent synchronization between the front-end and backend.

Integration

Tablet-based NFC scanning enabled warehouse staff to interact directly with the digital system on the move. Each workstation and shelf location was equipped with an NFC tag; scanning it instantly triggered context-aware actions — such as registering part pickup or drop-off — linking the physical workflow with the digital environment and reducing manual input errors.

Impact

Monotion evolved from a prototype into a functional operational platform that improved data flow, reduced manual tracking overhead, and provided a scalable foundation for future manufacturing automation initiatives.

AR Marketing

As part of Wilbert's marketing innovation efforts, I developed an Augmented Reality experience that transformed Wilbert's company logo into an interactive product trigger. When scanned with a smartphone or tablet, the logo launched a 3D visualization of Wilbert's EV charger, allowing viewers to explore its structure, modular configurations, and LED designs directly on any flat surface.

Experience

Users could rotate, zoom, and switch between configurations (such as dual-plug, LED color themes, or BuyBERT-enabled versions). Built with WebXR, Three.js, and AR.js, the experience required no dedicated app — users accessed it directly through a browser link printed on the business card, turning a simple physical object into a smart product demo.

Impact

The AR business cards became a signature marketing piece during trade shows and client meetings — an elegant fusion of physical branding and digital engagement. By using the company logo as both identity and activation marker, the project embodied Wilbert's innovation philosophy, letting potential partners and clients interact with the product instantly without apps, installations, or explanations.

Results

Successfully delivered the Android payment-terminal application which enabled seamless card/RFID transactions directly at the charger terminal, enhancing the built-in payment experience of the WILLBERT charger platform. The warehouse/Monotion system improved parts-tracking and assembly workflows — enabling more efficient operations for the charging-hardware business. The AR business-card marketing initiative provided an innovative tool for WILLBERT's sales/brand-team, helping showcase charger configurations in a visually compelling way for trade-shows and sales interactions. BuyBERT MVP was delivered on schedule, demonstrating full order cycle — from selection on the charger to backend processing and confirmation via POS interface.
